Peace be upon you, dear brothers and sisters!
Following major floods, a state of emergency is declared in Chad.
The floods that took place in Chad forced the inhabitants of N’djameba and its provinces to leave their homes.
Some of the inhabitants managed to take refuge in administrative buildings and in schools. But the majority are crowded along the main roads. People sleep on the ground, in the open air.
The floods claimed many victims, including children, women, and the elderly. The onset of winter adds additional suffering to these people.
Can we leave these unfortunate people in this situation without bringing them our help and solidarity? Helping others will never be in vain.
This help will be retributed to us in different forms, when we need it most.
