May peace and mercy of Allah be upon you, dear brothers and sisters.

Currently, we are having mixed feelings and our hearts are torn between sadness and joy concerning the Rohingya crisis.

Joy, because during the past 10 days, we have witnessed a great sense of brotherhood, unity and generosity within the Muslim community.

Sadness, because our actions are triggered by suffering, grief and famine.

Today we have completed our humanitarian mission in Bangladesh. Several thousands of families who had escaped from the persecutions in the Arakan region in Myanmar were able to receive a variety of help and support from our association. The orphans were given financial aid and hand pumps for easier access to water

are being built. Overall, the basis for difficult, long term work has been set.

All of this demands tremendous efforts and attention from the Muslims from all over the world.

Nonetheless, Bangladesh is not a long term solution for the Rohingyas. It is not the best place to be, and most importantly, it cannot replace their homeland!

Therefore, everybody should help out the ones in need with the most they can.

Life goes on and our good deeds might return to us in multiple ways, even before reaching the eternal life, and Allah will certainly reward us for them immensely!

We ask Him to keep our intentions, our help, and our support pure and sincere.
