Since 2017, Salsabil has been carrying out humanitarian projects in Chad. Within this short period of time, we have built wells, educational facilities and mosques. We have also provided humanitarian aid to the refugees from CAR (Central African Republic).

The population in northern Chad is tremendously lacking water. In the south, the constant flow of CAR refugees is never ending.

In the beginning of 2018 we announced a fundraising campaign to provide food aid to the refugees. In March, our Salsabil coworkers set out to Chad, without waiting for the campaign to end, and distributed food to 500 families in one of the refugee camps in the suburbs of Gore. To do so, we provided 25 thousand Euros from the Salsabil reserve fund.

According to the head of the local migration management, their department counts more than 30 thousand refugees. In December 2017, because of new conflicts in the neighboring republic, several thousands of people arrived in the department and were placed in different camps.

According to a manager of one of the camps, the refugees are in a very difficult situation. They receive extremely little help, which consists of 100 CFA franc (around 0,15€) a day for one person, provided by the camp, although pretty much nothing can be bought with it. Thus, people are in desperate need of food, not to mention clothes or hygiene products.

The only help that the camp received on an international level were tents from UNICEF for the latest batch of refugees.

With the help of Allah, Salsabil provided considerable support to these cruelly displaced people, who have suffered in the hands of religious extremists, who persecute people judging by their faith.

We are sincerely hoping for your help for the project « assistance to refugees from the CAR ». We also call on you to donate for well constructions, especially in Chad as the need is very strong.

We ask Allah to accept all of your and our efforts and to bless our actions and intentions.
