Dear brothers and sisters,

In 2024, it has been exactly 80 years since that tragic day. On February 23, 1944, the deportation of the Chechens and Ingush people became one of the darkest and most painful events in Vainakh history, resulting in the loss of thousands of lives. We must not forget those who perished during those terrible days, becoming victims of this perfidious crime.

Every year, the Salsabil Association, following tradition, builds wells in memory of the victims of the genocide of the Chechen and Ingush peoples. This is our charity for our innocent ancestors killed.

Unfortunately, in this region, due to the great depth of the water table, it is impossible to build an ordinary well, and the construction of a water tower is the only solution.

This year, for February 23, 2024, Salsabil built a water tower in Chad, in a village inhabited by representatives of Ahlu Sunna, who were forced to relocate due to complex circumstances. At the opening of this tower, another Aqiqa project was also carried out, and 15 sheep were sacrificed. The meat was distributed to the needy inhabitants of the village.

This project provided the inhabitants of Kurayda village and surrounding areas with access to clean water, contributing to the renewal of life in the village.
