For the first time this year, Salsabil provided assistance in Sudan. Extensive floods there have led to the death of many people and caused extensive damage to property. This African state’s economy has been unable to cope with the crisis caused by the pandemic and an unusually severe natural disaster.

With God’s help, we have implemented six humanitarian projects in the country.

We delivered food to people under “The Food Basket program”, provided funds under the “Zakat al-Mal” program, meat under the “Aqiqah” program, medicines under the “Bag of Medicines” program, helped to open a business under the “Sewing Machine” program, and also prepared children for studying under “The School supplies for orphans ”program.

“Bag with medicines”

In disaster zones, medicines are always needed. As part of its activities, Salsabil has been purchasing medicines for citizens in need. This is one of Salsabil’s long term projects.

In Sudan, we distributed essential medicines valued at 3,000 euros to those in need.

“Sewing machine”

Salsabil, for the first time in Sudan, has implemented a small business support project. To accomplish this, sewing machines and fabrics were purchased. Ten families received them. The women in these families have been able to use these to build their tailoring business.

Humanitarian organizations should not be a permanent fixture in the country, but people who have lost their homes and crops need to live and develop. A small workplace will help them get back on their feet and help themselves.

We hope that, with the help of Allah, this project will receive the support of our backers and we will have the opportunity to implement it in other African countries.

Finally, we want to remind you that all Salsabil projects are available on our website. We once again call on the mercy of Allah for you and ask for His sincerity in our words and deeds.
